Your readings and journal entries are private. Void Tarot has no app account, advertising, or cross-app tracking. Your personal writing stays in the app and may sync through your own private iCloud account. Wild Honey on The Porch LLC does not receive or sell it.

Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Wild Honey on The Porch LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in the Void Tarot iPhone app and on these Void Tarot web pages.

Information kept by the app

Void Tarot stores the information you choose to create or provide so the app can work for you:

your display name, birth date, and optional birth time and birthplace;
your reversed-card preference and other app settings;
questions, selected cards, card orientations, interpretations, and completed readings;
journal entries, prompts, and optional voice memo filenames; and
the verified Apple purchase status needed to decide whether Premium readings are open.

This information is used to provide the app’s readings, journal, card history, Birth Sky, settings, and Premium access. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

Where your information lives

On your iPhoneVoid Tarot works from local app storage first. Your profile, settings, readings, and journals remain available without a Void Tarot account.

In your private iCloudWhen iCloud is available for the app, supported records may sync through the private CloudKit database attached to your Apple Account. We cannot read or recover that private database.

Voice memos stay localJournal voice memo files remain on the device where you recorded them. Void Tarot does not upload those files to CloudKit.

Premium comes from AppleSubscription access is rebuilt from verified App Store purchase information, not from your journal or iCloud records.

Apple services used by Void Tarot

On-device writing help

When Apple Intelligence is available, Void Tarot may use Apple’s on-device language model to compose a reading from reviewed card meanings, the cards you drew, derived symbolic signs, and the question or journal context you supplied. The app does not send that material to our server or to a third-party AI service. If Apple Intelligence is unavailable, the app uses deterministic card details and prompts instead.

Speech recognition

If you tap the microphone and grant permission, the app records the question or journal note you speak. Transcription is attempted only when Apple’s on-device speech recognition is supported; the request requires on-device recognition. A Journal voice memo can remain as a local file even when no transcript is available. You may deny or revoke microphone and speech permission and continue the Journal without voice.

Birthplace search

If you choose to add a birthplace, the words you type are sent to Apple’s place-search service so you can select a city and historical time zone. Void Tarot does not request or use your current device location. The selected place and derived birth information are then stored with your profile as described above.

Purchases

Apple processes Premium subscriptions, trials, Family Sharing, billing, cancellation, and refunds. We do not receive your card number, bank details, or Apple Account credentials. The app receives product information and verified purchase status from Apple so it can show the correct offer and open Premium features.

What we collect

Wild Honey on The Porch LLC does not operate an app account, analytics service, advertising system, or reading server for Void Tarot. We do not collect your readings, journal entries, voice memos, birth details, device location, contacts, identifiers, or usage history.

If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use that information only to answer the request, investigate a problem, protect the service, or meet a legal obligation.

This website

These static pages do not set advertising cookies, run analytics, or contain tracking pixels. The hosting and network providers that deliver the pages may process ordinary connection information, such as an IP address and request time, under their own privacy and security terms.

Retention, deletion, and reinstalling

Local app data remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app.
Deleting the app removes local-only readings, journals, settings, and voice memo files from that device.
Records already synced to your private iCloud database may return after reinstalling. You can manage the app’s iCloud access and stored data through your Apple Account and device settings.
Voice memo files do not return through Void Tarot’s iCloud sync.
Verified purchases may return after entitlement refresh or Restore Purchases.
Support email is kept only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain a support record, or meet a legal requirement.

Because we do not receive your private app content, we cannot view, export, or delete it for you.

Security

Void Tarot minimizes data transfer and relies on Apple’s app sandbox, device protection, private iCloud storage, and App Store purchase verification. No storage system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but keeping personal content out of our hands materially limits exposure.

Children

Void Tarot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, we will update this policy and its “Last updated” date. Material changes will also be reflected in the app or App Store information where appropriate.
